PALRAM THERMAGLAS™ is a family of multiwall polycarbonate sheets engineered for greenhouse applications, including side and end walls, roofs, and specialty uses. These panels feature a cellular structure for superb thermal insulation, with options like twin-wall (4mm to 16mm thick) and triple-wall configurations that provide up to 60% greater energy efficiency than glass and 25% more than 8mm twin-wall acrylic. Key attributes include high light transmission or 100% opacity for light deprivation (in THERMAGLAS Opaque), built-in condensation control to minimize drip and reflectivity, co-extruded UV protection on one or both sides, impact resistance, low flammability (CC1 rating available), and rigidity with cold-formability to arches. Made from durable polycarbonate (density 1.2 g/cc, tensile strength 9400 psi), they weigh about half as much as glass, install easily with ordinary tools, and suit commercial greenhouses, retail garden centers, propagation areas, packing/holding spaces, and swimming pool enclosures.
