DRYTAC MHA Multi-Heat Adhesive

DRYTAC MHA Multi-Heat Adhesive

Description

Drytac MHA Multi-Heat Adhesive is a carrier-free, heat-activated solvent acrylic mounting adhesive designed for permanent bonding in signage, printing, and visual communications applications. Protected by a moisture-stable, bleached Kraft differential release paper (100 gsm) coated on both sides with siliconized PE, it features very low initial tack for easy repositioning of prints on pre-coated boards without damage, ensuring precise alignment before activation. Available in popular roll widths such as 25.5" or 51" by 328' lengths on 3" cores, it activates at 185°F to 220°F (85°C to 104°C) using heated roller laminators at speeds of 1' to 8' (0.3m to 2.5m) per minute, or via press at 195°F for 3 minutes. For thicker prints, increase temperature to at least 200°F and reduce speed to ensure full heat penetration. Compatible exclusively with roller laminators (not hot-shoe styles), it excels on flexible substrates like Expanded PVC, foamboards, and MDF for plaques, signage, and displays that can be trimmed or foiled post-mounting without lifting. Key features include superior bond strength, service temperature range of -4°F to 175°F (-20°C to 79°C), and shelf life of 1 year when stored at 59°F to 72°F (15°C to 22°C) and 50-55% relative humidity. This economical solution delivers reliable, professional results for high-volume production.
