Arlon DPF 6500 is a premium 2-mil (50 micron) gloss white cast translucent vinyl film featuring a permanent clear pressure-sensitive adhesive and lay-flat polycoated release liner. Engineered specifically for backlit graphics, it delivers superior print resolution, color vibrancy, and image quality with 27% light transmission, making it ideal for internally illuminated signage, displays, and applications where light transmission is critical. Key features include compatibility with a wide range of direct digital print systems, including solvent, UV, and latex inks, paired with Arlon Series 3200, 3210, 3220, or 3350 overlaminates for enhanced protection. It offers 7-year outdoor durability when unprinted (printed longevity varies by ink system) and performs reliably from -40°F to 200°F (-40°C to 93°C). Physical properties boast a gloss finish of 25-40 units, tensile strength of at least 4.5 lb/in (0.8 kg/cm), elongation over 150%, peel adhesion of 2.5 lbs/in (0.45 kg/cm), and dimensional stability of 10 mil (0.25 mm) after 48-hour aging at 158°F (70°C).
