Description

AMERILUX LEXAN™ VEROLITE™ is a multiwall polycarbonate sheet extruded from LEXAN™ resin, available in twin wall configurations such as 6mm and 8mm thicknesses.[1][2][4] It features high light transmission variants (up to 82% in clear 6mm, 80% in 8mm clear), 100% diffused light in Softlite, and 0% light transmission in Blockout for light deprivation applications.[1][2][3][5] Key attributes include outstanding impact strength (10 times stronger than acrylic, 200 times stronger than glass), excellent thermal insulation (R-value 1.64), long-term UV and weather resistance with two-sided protection, anti-drip/anti-condensate coating, and Class A/CC1 fire rating.[1][2][3][4] Weighing 0.27-0.31 lbs per sq. ft., it is lightweight, easily fabricated on-site, and suited for greenhouses, indoor grow operations, skylights, walkways, and window replacements.[1][2][3][4][5]
