Description

AMERILUX LEXAN™ THERMOCLICK™ consists of interlocking multiwall polycarbonate sheets designed for building and construction applications, such as facades, glazing, and protective railings. These impact-resistant sheets feature a unique tongue-and-groove connection with an enhanced fix-key section, eliminating the need for vertical profiles.[1][3] The standard 40mm thickness offers a 5-wall X-structure profile, while the 50mm version (special order) provides a 9-wall X-structure for superior insulation.[2][4][5] Made from UV-protected polycarbonate, they deliver high impact strength, hail resistance, excellent thermal insulation, good light transmission, and diffusion.[1][3][6] Stock colors include clear, opal, and blue; dimensions are 19.68 inches wide by up to 38.7 feet long.[1] Fire-rated Class A per ASTM E-84 with flame spread/smoke development of 15/235.[7] A 10-year limited warranty applies to the 40mm sheet.[1][3]
