Description

ACRYLITE Soundstop is a premium cast acrylic (PMMA) sheet engineered for superior noise control and wind barriers, offering exceptional sound reflection, impact resistance, and high transparency. Available in variants like GS, XT, and GS CC, it meets the highest airborne sound reduction category (B3) per EN 1793 standards and exceeds EN 1794 requirements for stone impact resistance, providing about 11 times the break resistance of comparable window glass. Key features include UV and weather resistance, graffiti resistance, and embedded polyamide filaments in select grades for fragment retention and up to 94% reduction in bird collisions compared to clear glass. Mechanical properties boast tensile strength of 10,000 psi, flexural strength of 15,800-17,000 psi, and modulus of elasticity around 470,000 psi, with luminous transmission up to 92%. Sheets come in transparent colorless, blue, green, brown, and other colors, in sizes up to 3300 x 2380 mm and thicknesses from 12-15 mm, with weights around 3.66-6.10 lb/ft².
