ACRYLITE® Resist Sheet

Description

ACRYLITE® Resist Sheet is an impact-modified acrylic (PMMA) thermoplastic sheet offering high optical clarity, superior impact strength—up to 20 times that of standard acrylic—and excellent weatherability with UV resistance.[1][2][5] Available in formats like solid, prismatic, multi-skin (8 mm and 16 mm double-skin), and corrugated wave profiles, it features light transmission up to 85%, heat insulation in multi-skin versions, and an anti-algae coating on some types to prevent moss and pollen adhesion.[1][3][8] Lightweight (half the weight of glass), rigid, and easy to fabricate via sawing, drilling, routing, painting, or thermoforming at lower temperatures, it resists chipping, melting, and hail while meeting ICC-ES standards for glazing and Florida hurricane zone approval.[2][3][5] Applications include skylights, sloped/vertical glazing, greenhouses, retail POP displays, store fixtures, sneeze guards, protective barriers, and patio covers.[1][2][6]
