ACRYLITE® Resist Prismatic Sheet

Description

ACRYLITE® Resist Prismatic Sheet is an impact-modified flat acrylic sheet (polymethyl methacrylate, PMMA) with a prismatic texture on one side for light diffusion and a smooth surface on the other.[1][2] It offers many times the impact strength of glass and standard acrylic per ASTM D5420 Gardner Impact Method, fracturing into large, less sharp pieces if broken rather than shattering.[1][2] Available in grades like 0RA65 (clear and white) and 0RA75, it weighs half as much as glass, provides 85% light transmission in colorless options (66% in white WRT25), and exhibits excellent weather resistance for outdoor use.[2] Recognized by ICC-ES for compliance with International Building Code requirements for light-transmitting plastic glazing and skylights.[2] Suitable for applications including skylights, glazing, retail displays, and protective barriers.[2][6]
