Description

ACRYLITE® Optical Mar-resistant is a continuously extruded acrylic sheet with a proprietary hard coating that provides 40 times the mar resistance of uncoated acrylic, along with excellent abrasion and chemical resistance, while maintaining outstanding optical clarity.[1][2][3] Available in one-side coated (MR1) or two-side coated (MR2) versions, it resists marring, scratching, staining, and daily cleaning with household glass cleaners or solvents like toluene, isopropanol, and kerosene, with no significant loss of light transmittance after 3000 hours of accelerated Xenon Arc weathering.[1][3] The uncoated side suits silk screening, and blue strip tape identifies the coated side.[1] Half the weight of glass with superior impact strength, it fabricates easily for high-traffic applications including displays, exhibits, fixtures, P-O-P displays, menu boards, signs, directories, furniture, and LCD screens in schools, hospitals, and retail settings.[1][2][3][4]
