ACRYLITE® LED Light Guiding Edge Lit Rod is an acrylic rod engineered for edge-lit illumination, featuring embedded colorless diffuser particles that scatter light entering from one or both ends, distributing it evenly across the entire surface for uniform brightness.[1][2][4] Unlike standard acrylic rods that glow only at the entry point, this product maintains illumination strength along its full length.[1][3] Available in three grades—0E011 (L), 0E012 (XL), and 0E013 (XXL)—with outer diameters of 0.787 inch or 1.57 inch and lengths up to 78.7 inches (2000 mm), it supports light lengths up to 78.7 inches when illuminated from both ends using a 120° view angle source.[1][4] The thermoformable material machines like standard extruded acrylic rod and can be bent into shapes or letters at 290-320°F without losing functionality.[1][2][4] Applications include furniture, illuminated handrails, retail and set design, artistic installations, exhibits, tradeshows, and architectural lighting fixtures.[1]
