Description

ACRYLITE® LED Color Changing Back Lit is an extruded, gloss PMMA acrylic sheet featuring a unique color-inversion property: it appears dark black and opaque in daylight but glows white or in the color of backlit LEDs (including RGB) at night, thanks to a special pigment formulation providing 25% light transmittance when illuminated.[1][2][4] The sheet offers superior light diffusion to eliminate LED hot spots at minimal distances, negating the need for separate diffusing films or panels.[2][4] It is lightweight, rigid, weather-resistant, and dimensionally stable, with thicknesses from 0.080” to 0.500” (2.0–12.0 mm), such as 0.118” (3.0 mm) and 0.177” (4.5 mm) in 48x96 sheets.[4][6] Easily cut, bent, formed, and fabricated, it suits illuminated signs, exhibition booths, store fixtures, retail displays, and special-effect luminous walls.[2][3][6]
