ACRYLITE LED is a premium line of PMMA acrylic sheets and rods engineered for superior performance in LED lighting applications, including edge lighting, backlighting, and signage. This lightweight, rigid, and weather-resistant thermoplastic offers exceptional light transmission up to 92%, uniform luminance without hot spots, and impact resistance approximately 20 times greater than standard acrylic sheets. Available in thicknesses from 3.0 mm (0.118 inch) to 12.0 mm (0.500 inch), standard sizes include 51 x 100 inches and 75 x 100 inches, with custom options for specific needs. Key variants include ACRYLITE LED sign grade, which combines high optical quality, ease of fabrication, and toughness for durable signage; color changing back lit sheets that appear dark in daylight but glow white when backlit, eliminating perforated films for energy-efficient displays; diffused sign grade for optimal LED diffusion with frosted texture; and light guiding edge lit rods and sheets featuring embedded diffuser particles for even surface illumination in ultra-slim panels, partitions, and architectural luminaires. Ideal for visual communications, printing, and signage, ACRYLITE LED supports thermoforming, cutting, bending, and backlighting while meeting ANSI Z97.1 safety glazing standards.
