ACRYLITE® Heatstop High Impact Multi-skin

Description

ACRYLITE® Heatstop High Impact Multi-skin is an infrared (IR)-reflecting, heat-insulating, and highly weather-resistant double-skin sheet made of impact-modified PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) polymer.[1][2] The Heatstop component is uniformly distributed throughout the sheet, reflecting IR radiation to reduce solar energy by up to 75% and minimizing heat buildup.[1][2][4] It features high impact resistance to prevent breakage during transportation, handling, and installation, along with a patented NO DRIP surface on one side that promotes natural cleaning when facing outward or prevents droplet condensation when inward.[1][2] Transmitted light produces a cool blue-white interior color for bright environments.[1][2] Available in thicknesses such as 8 mm and 16 mm, with widths up to 1200 mm and lengths up to 36 feet; supports spacing up to 106 inches for 8 mm sheets under uniform loads.[2] Suitable for sloped and vertical applications including car washes, canopies, skylights, patios, and glazing.[1][2]
