ACRYLITE® Heatstop Flat Sheet

Description

ACRYLITE® Heatstop Flat Sheet is an infrared (IR)-reflecting extruded acrylic sheet made from impact-modified polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) that limits heat buildup by reflecting a large portion of incident solar radiation while transmitting visible light.[6][5][1] Key features include up to 75% reduction in solar energy, a cool blue-white interior color for bright environments, and a NO DRIP surface on one side to promote water sheeting for self-cleaning or prevent droplet condensation depending on orientation.[1][3] Available in white (WZ005) at 52” x 100” size and 0.118” (3 mm) thickness with 54% light transmission, it offers high impact resistance, weather resistance, UV protection, and a maximum service temperature of 70°C (158°F) without load.[5][2] Suitable for skylights, glazing, and building applications requiring heat control and durability.[6][5] Fire rating is C2/CC2 per ASTM D-635.[1][8]
