ACRYLITE® Alltop High Impact UV Filtering is a 16 mm specialty impact-resistant extruded acrylic multi-skin sheet with wide-rib spacing, designed for commercial, research, and institutional greenhouses.[1][2][3] Made from polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) polymer, it features a patented NO DRIP coating on all surfaces, including interiors and flues, which spreads condensing water into a thin film to minimize light scattering, prevent algae growth, and eliminate floor puddles.[1][2][4] The UV-filtering grade blocks harmful UV while achieving up to 89% light transmission in the PAR range and a center-of-glass U-factor below 0.5 Btu/ft²-hr-°F for energy efficiency.[2][3][5] It offers high weather resistance, superior optics over polycarbonate, and withstands 15 lb/sq.ft. snow loads up to 16 ft. spans in aluminum systems.[3]
