The 3M Scotchcal Graphic Film IJ40C-10R is a premium 3-mil (0.081 mm without adhesive, 0.102 mm with adhesive) white opaque calendered vinyl film featuring a glossy finish and gray removable pressure-sensitive Comply adhesive with air release channels for fast, easy, bubble-free application. Optimized for piezo inkjet printing with solvent, eco-solvent, UV, or latex inks, as well as screen printing, it supports a maximum total ink coverage of 270% to ensure optimal drying and performance. Ideal for visual communications and signage applications, including general indoor signage, point-of-purchase displays, smooth walls, partial vehicle wraps, trucks, and indoor floor or carpet graphics on smooth, flat surfaces such as tile, sealed concrete, terrazzo, ceramic, finished wood, or low-pile secured carpet. Apply at 16-32°C (optimal 18-22°C for floors) to substrates like aluminum, glass, PMMA, PC, ABS, or paint, with service temperatures from -50°C to +90°C. It offers strong adhesion (8.5-13.5 N/25 mm indicative on etched aluminum or paint), resists mild alkalis, acids, and salts, and provides 7-year outdoor durability (3 months for floors). Removable with heat within expected life; pair with 3M Scotchcal Overlaminate 3648 for slip-resistant floor use or 8508/8518 for protection. Shrinkage is minimal at 0.4 mm, ensuring reliable, high-impact graphics.
