Description

The 3M™ Scotchcal™ Graphic Film IJ40-10R is a white, opaque, glossy calendered polymeric vinyl film designed for high-quality inkjet printing with solvent, eco-solvent, UV, latex, and screen printing technologies. Featuring a removable grey pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive with Comply™ air release channels, it ensures easy, bubble-free application on flat surfaces and simple curves, such as windows, public transport vehicles, and trailers. Key specifications include a film thickness of 0.075 mm (without adhesive) and 0.10 mm (with adhesive), applied shrinkage under 0.4 mm, and adhesion of approximately 8.5 N/25 mm on etched aluminum or paint after 24 hours at 23°C/50% RH. It offers service temperatures from -50°C to +90°C, resists mild alkalis, acids, and salts, and supports maximum ink coverage of 270% to prevent drying issues or overlaminate lifting. Recommended overlaminates are IJ40-114, IJ40-124, 8019, or 8020. Ideal for indoor and outdoor signage, fleet graphics, and visual communications, this film provides up to 7 years of durability when manufactured, applied, and maintained per 3M guidelines, with clean removability within the warranty period. Shelf life is 2 years under dry conditions below 38°C. Minimum application temperature is 16-32°C (optimal at 18-22°C).
