Description

The 3M™ Scotchcal™ Graphic Film IJ40-10 is a white, opaque, glossy polymeric calendered vinyl film designed for high-quality inkjet printing in visual communications, signage, and graphics applications. With a film thickness of 0.075 mm (±0.005 mm) and total thickness including adhesive of 0.10 mm (±0.01 mm), it features a permanent grey pigmented acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive that provides excellent hiding power and adhesion to substrates such as etched aluminum (13.5 ± 2 N/25 mm), paint (15.5 ± 2 N/25 mm), glass, PMMA, PC, ABS, and powder-coated surfaces. Ideal for indoor and outdoor signs, fleet graphics, and simple curve applications, the film supports solvent, eco-solvent, UV, latex inkjet, and screen printing with a maximum recommended ink coverage of 270% to ensure optimal drying and performance. Key features include low applied shrinkage (<0.4 mm), application temperatures from 10–38°C (optimum 16–32°C or +18–22°C for floors), and a service temperature range of -50°C to +90°C. It offers chemical resistance to mild alkalis, acids, and salts, with up to 7 years durability in interior Zone 3 conditions when paired with recommended overlaminates like IJ40-114 or IJ40-124. This versatile film ensures reliable, long-lasting graphics with professional finish and ease of installation.
