The 3M Scotchcal Clear View Graphic Film IJ8150 is a premium 2-mil optically clear cast vinyl film featuring a removable pressure-sensitive clear adhesive and transparent synthetic liner. With a total thickness of 3-4 mils including adhesive, it delivers exceptional optical clarity, enabling unprinted areas to provide unobstructed views through glass while supporting innovative graphics like one-way vision effects without perforations. Ideal for visual communications, signage, and printing applications on transparent substrates such as glass, acrylic, polycarbonate, and automotive windows, it conforms to flat surfaces, simple curves, and mild compound curves. Suitable for interior and exterior use on building windows, dividers, and non-regulated vehicles, it offers 7-year outdoor durability (unprinted, flat vertical surfaces) and clean removability without heat for up to 3 years. Compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, UV, latex inkjet, and screen printing, it supports maximum ink coverage of 270-280% depending on ink type. For optimal performance, apply wet (preferred) at a minimum of 50°F, and laminate with 3M 8518 or 8914 overlaminate. Available in rolls like 54 in x 50 yd and 60 in x 50 yd, this versatile film enhances creative signage with durable, high-clarity results.
