The 3M Controltac Graphic Film 180mC is a premium 2 mil (0.05 mm) cast vinyl film designed for high-performance, long-term graphics in signage, printing, and visual communications applications. Featuring 3M Comply adhesive with micro air release channels, it enables fast, bubble-free dry installations on flat surfaces, rivets, simple curves, compound curves, and corrugations. The pressure-activated adhesive allows easy sliding, tacking, snap-up, and repositioning, with gray or clear options depending on film color. Key specifications include a total thickness with adhesive of 3-4 mil (0.08-0.10 mm), tensile strength of 5 pounds per inch minimum at 73°F, and resistance to mild alkalis, acids, salt, and water. Application temperatures range from 50°F to 100°F, with a service temperature of -65°F to 225°F. Expected performance life is up to 10 years for unprinted film on vertical surfaces (unwarranted), making it ideal for commercial fleet vehicles, rail cars, watercraft above the waterline, OEM labels, exterior facades, displays, and signs.
